August has something on for everyone at The Brewery. Mumbai Nights, DJs, live music, our open-mic poetry and comedy nights, and the Clitoverse launch party. However you like your nights out, we've got you covered.
Mumbai Nights Ft. SolAnge
Mumbai Nights returns for the second time after a beautiful introduction last year. Expect to hear a range of very cool tunes the likes of which you may have never heard before. Bhanghra Beatz/ Psy-Trance/ Techno/ Deep/ Afro/ Melodic/Hip-Hop/ Bolly Tech/ Desi Bass This will be a musical feast like no other.
Mitch Burgess
Mitch Burgess is a jazz and blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter based in Woolgoolga. Known for sitting ‘in between’ genres, Mitch brings an energetic, upbeat sound shaped by expressive phrasing, improvisation, and a strong blues influence.
DJ Klevaone
KLEVAONE has held down residencies at many if not all of Sydney’s finest clubs and bars over his 32 year career. These days he plays only vinyl 45’s with his sets always being diverse musically - expect lots of different genres including Reggae, Lovers Rock, Rare Groove, Brazilian MPB, Funk Soul and Disco Boogie
Tigersnake
Tigersnake presents a selection of classic vinyl grooves from the premium era of house and garage music. Deep and underground sounds from the crate to your ear, creating soulful emotions with organic instruments, complex percussions, and beautiful house vocals.
Lachlan Jacques
Lachlan Jacques is an artist based in Mullumbimby. His influences are Amercian legends from the likes of Bob Dylan to Howlin Wolf. He plays as a one man band and brings a full sound of percussion, harmonica and deep baritone vocals.
Poetry Night
Each month, our open mic poetry night transforms Bellingen Brewery into a vibrant hub of storytelling, expression, and connection. With a welcoming crowd and a diverse lineup of voices, it’s the perfect space to share your words or simply sit back and be inspired.
Afi James
Rasta bush man, multi-instrumentalist, singer songwriter and producer. Fun, raw, soulful and fiery. A rich blend of roots, reggae, dub, hip-hop and jazz. Afi creates multi-layered sound journeys and rhythmic beats for his poetic chants and melodies to ride on.
Roger Burke & Friends
Each month, Roger Burke & Friends bring Bellingen Brewery to life with an evening of world-class jazz, blending classic sounds with fresh improvisation. Settle in with a drink and enjoy a relaxed, high-quality live music experience that’s become a favourite on the local calendar.
Hoot-E-Nanny: Open Mic Music Night
The Brewery Hoot-E-Nanny returns! A laid-back, anything-goes open mic night for the musicians, the songwriters, the jammers and the brave first-timers. Got a song? A set? A half-finished idea you’ve been sitting on? This is your stage. Whether you’re flying solo or bringing the band, we’re opening the floor for a night of raw, local talent and good times.
Clitoverse Launch Party
The official warm up party for Back to the Clitoverse. Can't wait until September? Neither can we. As we warm up the flux capacitor, get a sneak peak of whats to come.
OhMaSoul
OhMaSoul (Armidale) are bringing their unique mix of soul, jazz, quirky originals and reimagined covers back to the Bellingen Brewery. Their songs dive into deep themes of bonfires, love, loss, skeletons, rusty old trucks and meaningless officespeak, all wrapped in lush harmonies and laid-back intricate grooves.
Kingswood
Multi Platinum & Gold ARIA certified, ARIA nominated, 4 x Golden Guitar nominees KINGSWOOD are coming to the Brewery. BOM TEMPO returns to shake Bello. Global beats, tropical rhythms and dancefloor energy all night long. DJ Andre Meyer plays an extended set - vinyl to digital - weaving sounds from across continents. Dress up, let loose. Vamos.
